About
I'm a product engineer learning how to build a company.

I'm Abdrahamane Sarambounou. I turn messy business problems into software that people can use and understand.
My work moves between product decisions and engineering: shaping a workflow, designing the data behind it, writing the backend, and making the interface clear. I care most about the parts that have to stay correct when real people and real money are involved.
Most of my attention now goes to Sojago, software for rental agencies. Building it keeps me close to the details: rent, receipts, unpaid balances, owner reports, and the habits a new tool has to replace before anyone will trust it.
What I'm learning now
The technical work is familiar. The harder part is talking to customers, asking for the sale, setting a price, and staying with the same problem after the exciting part is over. That is the part of the job I am learning in public.
Why this site exists
I use this site to keep track of what I build, what I get wrong, and what changes my mind. The work is still in progress, and I want the writing to be honest about that.
